How to create short videos quickly in your business?

One piece of video won’t help your business grow much, and it won’t make you famous either. As with every other type of content, like photos or written posts, the key is to make it consistent.

BUT..
“I don’t like being on camera”
“I don’t know what to say”
“I don’t need to show my face, people only care about my products/services”

These are all thoughts that your brain tells you to keep you “safe”, and prevent you from the growth you desire.

I get it!

Trust me, if anyone, it’s me who feels extremely vulnerable on camera, I am the one who instantly freezes when I need to stand up and talk about my business.

I am not good at public speaking either. Having a strong accent plays a significant role in that, but even if you are a native English speaker, you can still feel massive pressure about creating video content when you actually show up.

So why would you bother creating videos???

Let me give you some stats from 2021:

– Viewers retain 95% of a message when they watch it in a video, compared to 10% when reading it in text format.

– 85% of people bought something because of a video

-Including a video on your landing page can increase conversions by more than 80%

So now that you have some numbers in mind, let’s create some short format (15-60 sec) talking head video content.

Where should you start?

Start giving value without asking anything in return!

In other words, start with Brand Awareness when you create videos that don’t include any specific paid offers.

No successful business owner has time to come up with ideas, record and edit videos all the time…
So how can we still make this consistent without spending too much time with that?

by BATCH CREATING your videos.

Step 1

Brainstorm!

Gather your ideas on a Google sheet or in your notes. Any time something comes up that can be content, write it down.
Get inspired by other creators in your industry.
Once you have about 10 ideas, see if you can approach them from different directions so that you can make 3 different content from the same idea.

Examples for Content ideas:

 Answering frequently asked questions

Giving out tips and tricks that help your ideal client prevent or avoid some problems.

Share the story of how you helped a previous client of yours. Tell a case study.

Step 2

Script!
Script your content! We sit down and write what we would like to say in our videos.

Step 3

Record!

After we have at least 30 scripted short-format content ideas, we upload them in a teleprompter and record them all in a few hours.

Step 4

Edit!

Put subtitles and relatable emojis, supporting b rolls to them that help to understand and enjoy the videos better, also search engines can find and push them forward because of the keywords in the subtitles.

Step 5

Schedule the posts!

Save your videos in a folder and schedule them using in any social media scheduling tool, so you can make sure that they automatically go out to the world, providing constant valuable content to your audience.

There you have it. Please note you don’t need any fancy gear to start creating your micro-content; however, you might find it easier and quicker when you get some professional help.
